In lists with mixed element types, it is now much easier to create new content of a specific type.
Simplified creation of new content in mixed lists
Prior to M 23-03, creating certain element types in mixed lists was sometimes problematic, e.g., if the desired content was not available in the displayed part of the list.
A workaround for this case was to first drag an element of the corresponding type (e.g., “decoy”) onto the page, then make the appropriate settings (e.g., categories) so that the content appears in the list, and finally delete the content from the page again.
With milestone 23-03, there is a plus [+] icon in the edit menu of the list—at the top right above the list entries. Click this to open a menu in a mixed list where you can select all possible element types in the list.
The settings required for the list, e.g., categories, are automatically set for the newly created content.
If only one element type is configured in the list, the menu does not appear; instead, corresponding content is created directly for the list.
