Contact information
The content types Organization and Person have replaced the outdated Contact information element. Please only use these elements from now on.

If and how the contact information element is available on your website depends on how your server has been configured. The following scenarios are possible:
- Only organization and person are available; there is no contact information. This is the default setting for new installations.
- Organization and person are available, existing contact information can still be edited, but new information cannot be created. We recommend this setting for older installations. In this case, existing content can continue to be used, but new content is created with the new elements.
- Organization, person, and contact information are available at the same time. In this case, all content can be created side by side. We do not recommend this setting.
Available formatters
The detail view shows the entire content including all images and text paragraphs. The output can be extensively adjusted using the element settings.
The detail view is usually intended for use on a detail page, as the target of the link of an teaser in a list. It can also be used directly on a page.
The elaborate formatter in list can show the complete content including image and texts.
This formatter can only be used in a list. The element settings are specially adapted to display contact contents in the list.
A link to a detail view is optionally possible, but not absolutely necessary, as all information from the content can also already appear in the list. Whether a link to the detail view appears is controlled with the element setting Link target in the list.
The compact formatter in list can display all text contents. An image is not shown.
This formatter can only be used in a list. The element settings are specially adapted to display contact contents in the list.

The text tile formatter in list shows the complete content with image and text. Despite its name, the formatter can also display an image in addition to the text.
